I remember this summer beginning, now the end is almost in sight. It has been a crazy ride so far. We are already past the midway mark and still going strong. This weekend is the relationship retreat and we have 19 non-believers from the campuses on the retreat. We advertised the weekend as a time to talk about spiritual things and they signed up to go. It was encouraging to see all the interest from the students. One has been looking and researching to find out who Dad truly is. Another was quoted saying, “I am afraid to go on the weekend because I will become a believer.” Dad is working in so many ways. Let me thank all of the people who are thinking for us this summer. Please continue to petition Dad for a great work here in KZ. We have spent the last 16 hours begging Dad for great things to come out of this weekend. We won’t know anything until later tonight. I will post something else when I find out what has happened.
Dad has been working a great deal in my heart lately. If you have been able to go deep into my heart at any point you know that I have major issues with belonging to groups or people. I feel at all like we aren’t compatible then I don’t really belong. If I don’t belong or feel desired then I kind of push myself to the back of the room and watch the rest. I was having a bad time with this early in the summer. The people on the team aren’t what I am. They are sorority, fraternity, athletic, academic, beautiful people. My mind and theirs don’t work the same way. We enjoy completely different things. I felt like I wasn’t a part. Then Dad slapped me and made me look at what the Body is comprised of. Not parts that are all the same. But differing parts, even parts that don’t always get along but we all still are supposed to be there because He put us there. I took me most of the summer until now to figure that out. I may not be the most desired piece of the Body but I play a significant role as to its function. Without me the Body wouldn’t be complete. The same goes to all the believers out there. WE are all part of the SAME BODY. Without you there would be pieces missing. Imagine a clock without one gear in it. The clock wouldn’t tell time. Imagine a picture without a base, it wouldn’t be able to stand. Imagine a body without a right foot. It would have a hard time getting around. Find your place within the Body and do everything you can to be the best part of the Body. If you are the pinky toe’s toenail then be the best toenail you can be.
Continue to desire Dad and want everything He has for you. I will be posting sooner or later about the weekend that just happened. In the meantime, please raise up some things to Dad for us. Health and stamina for the team, some are sick or getting over sickness. Patience with roommates and other team members. A desire to get onto the campus and meet new people. Flexibility with circumstances. The students we will be meeting, that they will see Big Brother in us and that they’ll be drawn to Him not us.

UPDATE::
Well, the team is back and the stories will both break your heart and will make it beat. I wish that there was a way to put it all on here. Basically there were some who wanted and desired everything that happened, others had no desire to be there, and others that wanted to be there but purely because someone else was. It really sounded like old youth groups from old. One guy I heard of would go outside and swim in a small pool behind the building during the seminars. Another had his headphones on during all of the talks. A third hung out with his girlfriend all of the time. But there were some who listened and wanted questions answered. I was a little angry when I heard some of the stories but then I was reading some things about attributes of Dad. I was brought to the great book to the romans. I was looking from another part of the Love Letter that led me to the ninth chapter around the twentieth - twenty-fourth lines. There were praises though that came out of it. Many relationships were built and fortified. Please continue to talk to Dad about these people that went and that we will continue to have time with them. We love you all.
