Yay for the internet

Well, I have set up an email address for you to send emails to. I have 3 people who will check this account periodically and send the messages to me. The reason for doing this is so that there is not something that can't be sent to me. There is a certain language that has to be used. So just send the emails to *redacted* and it will get to me. Thanks. Will be posting from overseas very soon. Mizpah

5 days

It's Friday night and I'm finishing the cleaning job on my room and finishing packing. Well, actually I'm just now packing and starting the cleaning job I've been meaning to do for the past 2 weeks. Watching the bugs fly around my head while I post this I dread saying goodbye tomorrow. Tears prepare themselves and a frog in my throat prevents me from swallowing. I don't know what I'm going to do in Atlanta as people say goodbye to family and friends. This is enough of a sacrifice for me. I don't want to have to do this again. But knowing this will happen at the end of the summer as well. I hate saying goodbyes. I dread the fact that someone may never be seen again. That a name and face may leave my memory. A picture could be found later but the name and thoughts of who it is would escape me. Working at this youth ranch has been difficult enough. Seeing boys come and go as Daddy sees fit. Having only the ability to think for them as they go. Again I feel like I have no control at all over what is happening. But that is how Big Brother wants it to be. He has told me several times that when I am weak and can't do anything, He will do it for me. He won't just help, He'll do it. To the family and friends back home please know that I cry and think for you every day. That the sacrifices in this journey is hard but well worth it. The praises Daddy receives is so much greater than all of my sacrifices.
I can't believe that I'm having such a hard time with this thing. I have traveled overseas twice in the past. This is another journey in life. But not really. There is purpose here. There is a greater command behind this trip. This isn't just another vacation like it was in the past. I have labor to do and things to learn. I am still thinking about what I am going to be doing after college is over. Will I continue with schooling or continue traveling? That is something you can ask Daddy to answer for me.
Well, this room won't get clean by itself. If you know of a room that does... please let me know. Much love. Mizpah.

Almost There

Yeah, I haven't been the most devoted to this blog thing but the summer is almost here and keeping this updated is going to be one of my key points while emailing others. There is also another site that might be updated as often as this one it is www.itp2005.blogspot.com . I just got an email from the director of the project and we are only $5,000 short of our goal. That is so exciting. Only 2 weeks ago we were over $17,500 short. Dad is doing so much for us so we may do His work overseas. Please continue to think for us while we are gone. It's going to hard on the families and friends left behind. This is the third time for me to be out of the country but for some it is the first time out of the south much less the country. Remember them as you talk with Dad.
Work here on the ranch is getting hectic while trying to do things to prepare for th trip. It's hard to leave all of them behind because I care so much for them. I have only been working here since November but in that time we have built intimate relationships. I have great memories from all of them and hope that Dad works great things in them while I am gone. There are staff that will continue to do the things as usual but I still will think of them and for them.
I will have 2 point persons for emails. They will have my emial and will screen all the emails sent to me. It will be kind of a large task for them but I trust that they will be able to handle it. In the next post I will include their email addresses.
Daddy has been doing so many things to help us and we think He will continue to do so. Until the next time I post, which will be within the next week or so, Mizpah.

Edit: I had to disable the comments while I am overseas at the suggestion of the director. There may be something commented that isn't cuturally sensitive. I will re-enable comments when I get home.
